Dr. Vera Herrmann
Dr. Vera Herrmann has been researching since 1997 in the field of pulse oximetry. In 2004 she published her Dissertation “Interaction of ultrasound and light in strongly scattering flowing medium”. Within in the past 20 years Dr. Herrmann has conducted basic research and laid the groundwork for the NIRLUS technology, in cooperation with leading subject matter experts and scientists from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer Sheva, Israel, University of Lübeck and the Research Institute at the Diabetes Academy (FIDAM), Bad Mergentheim, Germany.
Dr. Herrmann is graduate electrical engineer of technical Physics (Nuclear Physics), lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences and has for many years worked as Chief Engineer in micro system production and in development of ultrasound transducers.
Andrej Augustinov
Andrej Augustinov holds a degree in International Business Administration. Dr. Vera Herrmann and Andrej Augustinov, founded the NIRLUS Engineering AG. Mr. Augustinov has developed the vision and strategy of NIRLUS, in close cooperation with Dr. Herrmann, manages the investor relations and negotiates contracts with third parties. During his several years as consultant in business development and strategy and his work in international marketing, Mr. Augustinov gained considerable experience in high level project management.
Andrej Augustinov
Andrej Augustinov holds a degree in International Business Administration. Dr. Vera Herrmann and Andrej Augustinov, founded the NIRLUS Engineering AG.
